In addition to our general Privacy Policy, the following information covers our commitment to privacy for Aportio Clients and their Customers, when the Aportio services are used to process conversations.

What data do we collect?

Aportio Technologies collects the following data:

  • Your business address details
  • The subject matter and instructions within an email conversation

How do we collect your data?

You directly provide Aportio Technologies all the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

  • Register online or place an order for any of our products or services.
  • Submit emails to be processed via our service.

Aportio Technologies may also receive your data indirectly from the following sources:

  • Contact information (including email addresses and phone numbers) provided by an Aportio Client relating to their Customer(s).

Aportio Technologies collects your data so that we can:

Aportio Technologies will only share Customer data with the Aportio Client with whom the Customer transacts.

How do we store your data?

Aportio Technologies securely transports and stores your data in transit and at rest, using encrypted data technologies, in Amazon Web Services data centres. Aportio undertakes regular penetration testing, has undertaken an independent Amazon Services Well Architected Review, and has completed certification of compliance with ISO27001 security standards for solution and process design and compliance with industry best practices.

Aportio Technologies keeps copies of originating emails for a period of 30 days. Once this period has expired, we delete your data automatically. Extracted attributes are retained in log files to assist with analytics and model retraining. This data is retained in perpetuity.

What are your data protection rights?

Aportio Technologies would like to make sure you are fully aware of all your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:

The right to access – You have the right to request Aportio Technologies for copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.
